As President of Encompass Services, Mr. Wright has 15 years of experience serving in the chief executive role for industry leading civil survey providers. Beyond that, Mr. Wright has over 20 years of distinguished service with major operating companies such as TransCanada, Northern Natural Gas and Williams Transco in which he served in field and operational capacities. Mr. Wright is a Professional Land Surveyor with over 40 years of industry experience, and is licensed in multiple states throughout the country. Through his guidance and direction, Encompass has grown to over 300 full time employees and over 100 survey crews in under nine short years.

Vice President of Business Development

As Vice President of Business Development of Encompass, Seth oversees all executive level marketing and business development strategies, with a focus on commercial culture development and cross-marketing between the Encompass Geographic Regions. Seth has an extensive background in all phases of project lifecycle including more than 17 years of project management, project controls and strategic hiring. Seth works directly with internal Encompass stakeholders to establish competitive pricing and customized, project specific solutions to meet the commercial and operational needs for each of our clients prior to project inception. As Vice President, he also works directly with external stakeholders to ensure our clients needs and expectations are being met and exceeded. Seth holds a degree in Business Administration from the University of Minnesota.

Vice President of Finance

Jerry joined Encompass Services LLC in September of 2015 oversee all financial matters. Prior to joining Encompass Services, Jerry enjoyed a 40 year career in banking with the majority of that time spent as a Senior Vice President of Business Banking. Encompass Services, Jerry oversees the preparation of the monthly financial statements, the review and preparation of all project invoicing, accounts payable, project margin analysis and payroll processing. Jerry is a vital resource to all of the regional managers at Encompass Services – he provides any necessary information that they request to effectively manage their field projects. Jerry is a proud resident of his hometown of Duluth, MN where he also attended the University of Minnesota majoring in Business with a concentration in Finance.

Vice President of Human Resources

As Vice President of Human Resources of Encompass, Casey oversees compliance, payroll, benefits, safety, equipment, and IT. Ms. Oware is a SHRM Senior Certified Human Resources Professional with 15 years of experience in the energy industry on a national scale. Casey has been with Encompass since its inception and has been pivotal in the development and implementation of systems, processes, and procedures that increase business proficiency.

Prior to Encompass, Casey was a third-party HR consultant for large EPCs in the energy industry which has enabled her to service our stakeholders, but also remain client-focused. Casey graduated from Oklahoma State University with a B.S. in International Business and obtained her Juris Doctorate from Purdue University.

Vice President of Operations - East

Serving as the Vice President of Eastern Operations for Encompass, Mr. Whitman is a third generation Professional Land Surveyor registered in West Virginia, Virginia, Tennessee, Kentucky, Pennsylvania and New York.   With nearly 30 years of experience, his diverse background includes civil survey and related services in support of a variety of industries .  In addition to providing survey services across the life cycle of the Oil and Gas Market, his experience includes State DOT design projects, Municipal Civil Design and Construction projects, Architectural site surveys and layout services, ALTA/ACSM land title surveys, Telecommunication lease surveys and site design services among others.  Mr Whitman joined Encompass in October 2012 as the Northeast Regional Director and has organically grown a group that now supports the entire East Coast and Upper Midwest.

Vice President of Operations – West

As Vice President of Western Operations for Encompass, Mr. Conaway brings over 20 years of land surveying experience conducting surveys and managing projects in an array of industries including oil and gas, land development, electric transmission, renewable energy and municipal development. In addition to his operational leadership, Jeff is a key member of the Encompass corporate leadership team where he excels at client and company communications, mentorship of young survey professionals and establishing best practices for the entire firm. Jeff is a Certified Federal Surveyor, is licensed in five states, and holds a degree in Communications from the University of Minnesota-Duluth.

Vice President

As a Vice President of Encompass Services, Mr. Cash is a key leader on our ongoing major capital projects and burgeoning renewables initiatives. As one of the most respected professionals in the industry, he mentors many of our young professionals in all three regions of the company to provide unique insight and guidance. Bill has been practicing as Professional Land Surveyor since 1976 and he is licensed in 6 states. Since 1979, Mr. Cash has been servicing the pipeline industry across the country, ranging from gathering system projects to cross country pipelines up to 500 miles in length. Bill holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from North Carolina State University.

As Vice-President of Mid-Continent Operations, Mr. Cheney brings over 40 years of experience in enterprise management, program direction, and project management. His extensive background includes managing projects valued at more than $100 million and staff levels of over 400 people. Scot has comprehensive skills in team building, project scope development, resource allocation, scheduling, permit/zoning issues, schedule development, budgeting, and contract negotiation. Mr. Cheney’s focus is dedicated to the continued growth and success of Encompass while being a leader in establishing operational plans, marketing strategies, and project execution methods. Scot specializes in route design, constructability assessments, permitting, ROW, layout plans, and the administration of large survey projects.
